Life in The Last Days: 2 Timothy 3
Wondering what the future holds? Most people do. Parable: Truth in Story
There’s something about a story that draws us in. When Jesus spoke, he told stories, or parables, to present his message. People easily related to these stories, as we do today. But Jesus’ parables aren't just entertaining stories—they revealed truth to the serious minded, yet at the same time, concealed truth from the indifferent listener. Join us for “Parable: Truth in Story” a series focusing on four parables from the Gospel of Luke, and come ready to be awakened to truth that can transform you.

“CREED: What We Believe.”
In an age of “whatever,” it’s easy to think it doesn’t really matter what you believe. But beliefs do matter, because what you believe will affect who you are and how you live. For four weeks we will make our home in the book of Romans, zeroing in on basic beliefs of the early church—the same teachings that are to be held by today’s church. Join us in the month of June for the message series,
June 7 – Jesus is God
June 14 – Mankind is Fallen
June 21 – Salvation is by Faith
June 28 – The Gospel is for Everyone
Interior: Your Heart Condition
We work hard at “good appearances.” But how we look on the outside may not tell the story of what we’re like on the inside, and it’s the condition of the heart that really counts. Indeed, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7) Join us for “Interior: Your Heart Condition” a message series about David (who God identifies as “a man after my own heart”) that is targeted at helping us assess and to change what is going on at the heart level.

May 17 – “Brave-Hearted”
May 23 – “Broken-Hearted”

“Restored” (Peter in Acts of the Apostles)
A fall can happen to any follower of Christ. It happened to Peter (whose name meant “rock”) when he denied any relationship with Jesus, not just once, but three times. At such moments, shame can almost steal any hope of recovery. But, as we see in the Book of Acts, Peter’s best days as a follower of Jesus were still ahead. Join us for “Restored,” a series meant to offer hope, but also a challenge.
April 12 – Restored to Strengthen
April 19 – Restored to Speak
April 26 – Restored to Serve
May 3 – Restored to Suffer
The truth is, sometimes we act like we don’t have a choice about a lot of things. And while that is the case with some things, you do actually have more choice than you realize. And the choices you are making today are what you will be living with tomorrow. Join us for “iChoose” - a series that will help you make wise choices.

This Book - This Year! with Pastor Mark Abernathy
Researchers George Gallup and Jim Castelli report, “Americans revere the Bible—but, by and large, they don't read it. And because they don't read it, they [we] have become a nation of Biblical illiterates.”
Join us for this 2 part series as we consider the uniqueness and the usefulness of Scripture. This series
goes along with our 2015 goal that we’re calling, “This Book–This Year,” which is the challenge of reading the Bible through in the coming year. Each week you will find the Scripture reading for that week on our website. Come along with us on this adventure…“This Book–This Year”!

January 4 The Usefulness of Scripture
Listen To Message
Our series for Advent this year was “The Unbelievable.”
A song by the same title, written by Steve and Vikki Cook, begins with the words:
Come and see the inconceivable
And believe the unbelievable
God has come to dwell with us
Bob Kauflin, commenting on this song, wrote, “We’re so familiar with nativities, carols, and the Christmas story, that we often lose the sense of awe, wonder, and amazement that the incarnation should produce in us. So we need to labor to be affected by what is truly inconceivable – God became a baby to redeem us from his judgment and to reconcile us to himself.”
Over the next four Sundays, we will aim to regain the sense of wonder Jesus’ coming should inspire in us. Come and join us as each Sunday we explore one of the themes of Advent:
November 30 – Unbelievable Hope
December 7 – Unbelievable Love
December 14 – Unbelievable Joy
We apologize but we had some technical issues this week with our recording
December 21 – Unbelievable Peace
We apologize but we had some technical issues this week with our recording
Thank-Full with Pastor Mark Abernathy
THANK-FULL – Keeping Your “Thank Tank” on Full
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." Colossians 2:6-7
Life can knock the thanks right out of us. But, as followers of Christ, it’s important that we don’t give up gratitude ground. In these two weeks we will learn about keeping our “thank tank” on full.
November 16 – Gratitude on “Low”
November 23 – Gratitude on “Overflow”

HIGH PRIORITIES with Pastor Mark Abernathy
