Sunday is...

The day before Monday.

Football.

Sleeping in.

Boating on the lake.

Church?

Really, now...can church offer more than ESPN, CNN and Sunday REM (your beauty sleep, that is)?

Here at Lakeway Community Church we believe it does! At LCC we join with other believers and seekers who want to explore the truth claims of Christianity or grow in their relationship with Christ. If this interests you, we invite you to join us for Sunday morning worship and fellowship where God is the main event and relationships are second only to One.

Jesus was once asked, "Teacher, what is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself'" (Mt. 22:36-39).

WHEN WE MEET

Sundays

9:40 a.m. - Coffee and Refreshments

10:00 a.m. - Songs of Worship and Message

11:10 a.m. - Sermon Break Out (This is a unique part of our Sunday morning experience where we have an opportunity to share with each other what today's message means to us and how to apply it personally)

Children's classes and activities--3 years through 5th grade--begin after corporate worship around 10:20 a.m. Nursery for infants thru pre-school is led by trained volunteers in a safe, loving environment. All nursery and children's ministry volunteers have received background checks and security of your child is a top priority with us at Lakeway.

WHAT TO EXPECT

On a typical Sunday you can expect about fifteen minutes of contemporary worship followed by a message from our pastor focusing on a topic or passage from the Bible. Afterwards, we take a short break, then gather into smaller groups to discuss the pastor's message. For many, this interactive discussion group is the most meaningful part of their Sunday morning experience.

WHAT TO WEAR

Dress is casual. Some people like to wear dresses and a few brave souls may sport a tie on occassion. You'll fit in perfectly with jeans or khakis and a t-shirt.
